The explosion in numbers of people taking up outdoor pursuits such as cycling, rambling and hacking has encouraged Local Authorities, Natural England and The Highways Authority, undertaking examination of the structures on their cycle tracks and footpaths, with the result that we are engaged in the assessment and design of replacement bridges over a wide area of the UK. Combining our knowledge of both urban and rural design requirements with modern engineering to arrive at a design that sits comfortably within its landscape is a particular sphere of expertise that we have developed. This compliments the more conventional work we are engaged in on roads and bridges.
