Our CDM Consultancy service has been born out of the principal of putting the welfare, comfort and safety of people who will be involved in the construction, operation, maintenance and eventual decommissioning of our structures. From the introduction of the Construction and Design Management Regulations in 1994, our engineers developed their approach to design and communication of design information to ensure that risk could be properly evaluated and catered for within the construction process and set up a range of procedures to be followed, which developed into a protocol we offered to Clients and other designers as a tool to ensure compliance on any particular project. With the revision to the regulations in 2007, we decided to offer a full CDM Coordination Service that is now relied upon by a number of our key clients and other design consultants.
